Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal said the rebranding would help secure and increase Bumiputera equity in strategic sectors in line with the government’s aspiration.

“Once, we relied on being an institutional fund manager and were not aggressively into investments but now after the rebranding, we will heighten investments and declare higher dividends to shareholders,” he told a press conference after officiating the 46th Mara Day here Thursday.
