En. Najmi Haji Mohamed is the Chief Executive Officer of PMB Sustainable Sdn Bhd, where he leads the company’s strategic direction across sustainability, carbon markets, and ESG-driven initiatives. He brings extensive experience in asset management, fixed income, and capital markets, with particular strengths in governance, regulatory engagement, and the creation of sustainable value through disciplined and structured investment strategies.
Prior to his current role, En. Najmi served as Chief Executive Officer of PMB Investment Berhad, a subsidiary of the Pelaburan MARA Group, where he was responsible for overall management, investment strategy, regulatory compliance, and business development. Before that, he was the Chief Investment Officer at Muamalat Invest Sdn Bhd, overseeing firm-wide investment strategy and portfolio performance across fixed income and multi-asset mandates. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles as Head of Fixed Income at Amanahraya Investment Management and as Senior Manager in the Fixed Income Treasury function at KAF Investment Bank.
With a career spanning both traditional finance and sustainability-focused enterprises, En. Najmi brings a strong capital markets perspective to ESG and climate-related solutions. He actively supports the development of scalable, investable, and regulatory-compliant sustainability platforms. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Accountancy and Finance from the University of Greenwich, United Kingdom.
